Fassmer’s first Offshore Patrol Vessel for the Republic of Singapore Navy is named Sentinel
The Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) Sentinel for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) was officially named at the Fassmer shipyard in Berne.
Sentinel is the first of a total of four new Offshore Patrol Vessels being built by Fassmer for Singapore.
The ceremony marking the important programme milestone was attended by Singapore’s Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing and German Federal Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius.
